The behavior herein continues to be harmful, in particular in this case: https://jsfiddle.net/fippo/wtq1jr2n/1/ Firefox removes the outbound-rtp stats when the track is replaced with null and resurfaces them when a track is attached again? Notably *stopping* the track does not remove the stats. That is a rather inconsistent interpretation of "no packets no stats", no?
